Hornby R2684 A4 Class Locomotive No. 4468 Mallard in LNER livery and is DCC ready.
This is a special edition locomotive with metal parts plated in 18ct gold to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Mallard achieving the world speed record for steam traction on 3rd July 1938 of 126mph on Stoke Bank near Grantham on the East Coast Main Line.
It comes complete with numbered certificate of 5000, a lined presentation box, a piece of gold plated track and also it is supplied in the standard red Hornby box.
